Christian Dieperink started the consulting company WaterFrame in 2002 to offer analyses and surveys of the environment in streams, lakes, and coastal waters. The name comes from the EU's Water Framework Directive, which was unique in consolidating all European work on water environments into one law. Today we primarily work with monitoring plants and animals in freshwater.
